  • Changes within the organisation of the GAC-EPA and of the CERN Staff Association

    Dear members

At its December 2023 meeting, the GAC-EPA Committee approved its organization for 2024. The main change concerns our representation on the CHIS Board, where Claude Genier replaces David Jacobs (still accompanied by Morna Robillard). As a result, Claude also replaces David among the 7 delegates to the Staff Council. The full organizational chart for 2024 can be found on our website https://new.gac-epa.org/en/gac-epa-committee/ .

We would like to warmly thank David Jacobs for his twelve years of intense and passionate work on the CHIS Board.

In mid-December, CERN’s Staff Council elected a new Executive Committee for the 2024-2025 term. You can consult the results on the Association’s website: https://staff-association.web.cern.ch/article/results-executive-committee-elections-2024-2025-mandate . On this same page, you will find the programme  of work on the basis of which the new team was elected, and you will see that issues that affect pensioners closely are at the heart of this programme.
