  • Director-General Town Hall on 23 April 2026

The Director-General will hold a meeting and Q&A session on Thursday, 23 April, at 10 a.m., at the Science Gateway (Sergio Marchionne Auditorium).

The meeting can be followed through webcast. Simultaneous interpretation in French will also be available. This webcast will be accessible to all retirees holding a CERN Verified Guest Account (e.g. gmail.com, outlook.com, hotmail.com, laposte.fr, etc.) given before their departure.

To access the webcast, you will need to go to the  https://indico.cern.ch/event/1661742/ page  and authenticate yourself via the “Email – Guest Access” link on the login page that should appear. The webcast should then be accessible by clicking the “Watch” button.

PS: The procedure can be tested now, but the “Watch” button will only show a countdown to the start of the meeting. If the countdown is displayed, it guarantees in principle that you will be able to access the webcast on the day of the meeting.

If you do not hold a CERN Verified Guest Account, the procedure for obtaining one can be found in the document (in French) https://new.gac-epa.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Verified-Guest-Account.pdf

  • The monthly pension payment date will not change!

Thank you for your numerous responses to our message alerting you to the possible change in the pension payment date from the 7th to the 25th of the month.

97% of you supported the GAC-EPA’s position and expressed a negative opinion for various reasons.

The analysis of your feedback was communicated to the Pension Fund, which ultimately decided not to make any changes.

This good news was confirmed by the Fund in a letter that you should have received with the pension payment dates for 2026.

We would like to thank the Fund and the Benefits Service for this decision.
